Handbags! 26 July 2010 One of our lovely clients Shona Easton has decided to concentrate on designing fantastic handbags and leather accessories full time, which means her shop in Cranleigh will cease trading on 12th August. We created a digital variable print postcard (in english this means all her names and addresses are preprinted on the postcard to save her sticking on all those labels!) to let her clients know what was happening and to alert them to the amazing reductions on offer at the shop in the next couple of weeks. We wish her all the best with the new direction for her business, and look forward to getting over to Cranleigh to snap up a few bargains!
New look for M W Brace Property Services 14 July 2010 We've just completed work on an updated look for M W Brace Property Services, including a new business card, advert design, letterhead and document template. We also created a targetted media plan for Martin and are managing the implementation of this plan. On receiving his new business cards recently, Martin sent us this email with his thoughts: "Just received the business cards and wanted to let you know that I'm very happy indeed, great work." Which is always nice to hear!
Blooming marvellous! We're blossoming… 12 July 2010 Great news! Mzuri is growing fast and we've been recruiting to keep up with demand. With business thriving, the team has expanded to include new Account Manager Zoë Dunn who joined the team in mid-July. Zoë has 11 years experience in marketing and has worked on a huge range of projects that include strategy and planning, copywriting, design, web development, proofreading, print buying and project management, to name but a few!...more.
Alan Baker Interior Design - launch party a great success! 9 July 2010 The Alan Baker team have been working tirelessly over the past few months to create a stunning new Interior Design studio on Wey Hill, Haslemere. Their hard work was rewarded at their successful launch party on 18 June. The new slick black and gold signage that we created and fitted for them, provides the perfect frame for the beautful window and internal room settings that their innovative designer Sahran had created. We also created an invitation for the event, a DVD which plays on the plasma screen in the window, as well as stationery and various pieces of marketing collateral for the new studio. We look forward to continuing to work with Alan, Amanda, Sahran, Christine and the rest of the team on other projects in the pipeline!
Another new van added to Graduate fleet 9 July 2010 Further to our news story last week, we're pleased to present the latest new addition to the Graduate fleet, which was completed on Tuesday. As with the existing vans, this one includes a garden design of a real garden, completed by one of Graduate's designers Dan Lobb, and another photograph from their portfolio. We'll be taking a photo of the whole fleet in the near future, although we'll have to wait for a window of opportunity when all the van's and their crew can spare us half an hour for a quick photo (which may well be winter at this rate).
Hot off the press - the latest Graduate Landscapes van 29 June 2010 Hot off the press today is the new Graduate Landscapes van to add to their fleet. Graduate have experienced such a growth in their business they are adding several new vehicles to their fleet over the coming weeks and we've been tasked with designing and arranging fitting of the graphics. Each van has a unique picture on the back to make the most of their stunning portfolio of gardens, as well as real garden design plans on each side of the van, to give a sense of the level of detail that Tony and his team go to in creating the perfect outside spaces for their clients. Naturally the key contact information is also on there. I defy you not to want to jump into this pool when you next spot this Graduate Landscapes van in traffic! Especially in this weather!
Glam Rock Party Invites 21 June 2010 We've just produced these glam rock/studio 54 inspired invites for a 18th/21st birthday party. We went for a square, 'LP' cover look coupled with a black envelope. The plan being to write all the addresses on with a silver pen. This look, I am sure, will excite the recipients about the forthcoming celebrations, before they even get through the door. A new website for The Curtain Company 17 June 2010 We're delighted to announce the launch of the latest Mzuri Design website project. The Curtain Company has been making bespoke, high quality curtains and blinds for interior designers, developers and private individuals for over 20 years. Their existing website had seen better days and had a limited portfolio. We have a created a fresh new look for the site www.curtaincompany.co.uk, and are happy to report that the client is absolutely delighted with the end results. It gives a really good feel of the quality of work that Glynis and her team achieve and we will continue to add to the gallery as new projects are completed.

Time Saving Email System for Hardware Associates 3 June 2010 We have just completed a project for one of our clients, Hardware Associates, which is providing them with a time-saving system to generate html emails for their new clients. Hardware provide Dell computer spares for both individuals and large corporate businesses. They wanted to be able to send a 'designed' html email to thank clients for their order, as a follow up on delivery and for sending quotes. The brief was, "One of my team need to be able to create an email in less than a minute". ...more.
New Vans for H&C Contracts on the road 30 April 2010 Hot on the heels of the new brand identity that we've developed for air conditioning company H&C Contracts which we wrote about earlier this month, we've now had the first pictures through of the first in their fleet of vans to be fitted with the vinyl designs we created. The new blue vans look very smart with their new corporate identity and the roll out will continue until all vehicles carry the new look. The roll out to signage, stationery and uniforms is now also nearing completion, and their new website will launch in May, so watch this space for further updates and a full case study coming soon.
Centenary Appeal for St Ives School, Haslemere 30 April 2010 St Ives School in Haslemere have launched their Centenary Appeal and asked us to help with a centenary logo and some promotional materials, including leaflets and banners. We had access to some fantastic old school photos from the 1960s which we scanned and included in the banner and leaflet, alongside the new centenary logo for the school, which was designed to wrap around the existing school logo. New Brand Identity for H&C Contracts Ltd 14 April 2010 We've been working with the management team at H&C Contracts to create a new brand for this very well regarded Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Engineering company. The new identity is reflective of the work that they do, including references to heating, cooling and the environment as well as the movement of air. The 'traditional with a twist' font choice reflects the fact that the company are forward thinking and long-established (having started in 1987). Norwegian company Nortek choose Mzuri Design to update brochure 26 February 2010 Nortek develops and manufactures Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) and current meters for use in the ocean, rivers, lakes and laboratories. Nortek's head office is in Norway and it has offices across Europe, Africa, America, South America, Australia and Asia. We are working with Nortek to develop a new brochure for their Current and Wave Measurement instruments for the ocean, lake and laboratory. The brochure will be used for the first time at a forthcoming exhibition and then after to support the sales team with new business enquiries.

A new logo for Margaret Martin Associates 8 February 2010 Margaret came to Mzuri with a request for a new logo and business card for her business, MMA Ltd, which provides Human Resources Consultancy including outplacement, career counselling, self-marketing, pre-retirement, coaching and recruitment services throughout the UK. Delighted with her new look Margaret has instructed us to create web pages and presentation materials for the business. We look forward to working with Margaret and her team on future projects.
Mzuri to work with DAVE 5 February 2010 DAVE, or Designed Audio Visual Environments provide bespoke solutions for both public and private sector. Their varied client base includes educational establishments who need solutions for varied teaching environments (no they dont have blackboards anymore!) and corporates who have specific training needs alongside fitting bespoke systems in private homes. All work is completed to the highest standards using the latest technology. We look forward to working with the team to develop a new website with a content management system as well as a case study template which can be used to both populate the new website and sent out as a mailer to potential clients.

MAD Pantomime - Mother Goose has arrived! 29 January 2010 The MAD Company's production of Mother Goose now has a fabulous banner to promote ticket sales. If you haven't got other plans on 19th or 20th February and are in the Liphook area, why not bring the family along for this fun-filled annual Pantomime at Bohunt School on Longmoor Road. We're busy working on the panto programme, which is a glossy 24 page A5 number and ties in the with banner and poster that are already in action!

Not Even 12 Inches of Snow Can Stop Us! 6 January 2010 It was a similarly snowy picture across much of the country, and in Liphook we received about 12 inches of snow last night. But even snow doesn't stop the deadlines, so a couple of us were able to make it in to the office briefly to make sure everyone was set up to work from home until the roads are clear enough to make travelling in safer. The show must go on! Here's Phil braving the weather and proving his dedication to the cause!
