Maple Lea Dental Practice
The Brief
When Maple Lea Dental Practice approached us they had a very clear idea of what they wanted and that was to refresh their existing brand, stationery and suite of marketing materials. They wanted the look of the practice to be clean, modern and attractive without being too clinical. The client had also just had their website redeveloped and so the new brand had to work in line with the style of the new site as well.
However, we had to be careful not to modernise the look of the practice too far to take into consideration the average age and preferences of the practice's patients. A perfect balance of establishment, experience and modernity was called for.
The Solution
Our first task was the development of the Maple Lea logo. We retained the maple leaf motif which was synonymous with the practice to ensure that brand awareness that had already been built was not lost and that the links to the new website design were reinforced. However, we stylised it slightly and added a twist of colour with a magenta line running through the design. The other key colour (retained from the existing brand) is a deep turquoise which complements the magenta beautifully. Over all the refreshed logo kept the look of Maple Lea but developed it to bring a cleaner and more up to date feel.
Once the brand had been agreed we rolled out to the range of materials used by the practice that included stationery and referral leaflets with perforated spines to allow the patient to keep information regarding the their dentist and Maple Lea Dental Practice itself.
We are currently working on the next stage of the project for the client.
