Hook Tandoori

The Brief
Hook Tandoori is an award winning Indian restaurant in Hampshire and approached us when they were in serious need of a new menu design - both for eat in and take-away - that was more fitting for the high quality of food that they serve.

The Solution
Various requirements had to be considered during the design process, including creating a menu that housed Hook Tandoori's wide selection of dishes but was sized appropriately so that it didn't distrupt diners conversation. It also had to be produced in a material that would withstand the odd spilt drink or splash of curry. We created a square menu, with lamination on each of the inner pages for durability, with leather bound and embossed outer cover for a luxury finish. The menu was bound with binding screws, to allow pages to be updated and added easily and cost effectively as required.

The takeaway menu was created in handy A5 size and we also designed the packaging in the form of take-away bags to complete the look. We have also worked with Hook Tandoori on a number of other projects including copywriting, PR, banner design and advertising.
