The Brief

Starfish had long been established in Haslemere, but a change in customer buying behaviour heralded a change in direction for owner Beverley Rafferty. The existing brand identity and clothing lines were aimed at a young 'surfer' market, but Beverley wanted to renovate the shop, focus soley on high end womenswear and appeal to sophisticated 30 and 40-somethings with an eye for fashion.

The Solution

We started by created a new brand identity for Starfish, creating a simple and stylish look that would appeal to the target market. We created and installed a new signage scheme for the shop, managing the project from start to finish. In the meantime, two new bag designs were finalised and sent to Hong Kong for production. Advertising design and management, as well as business stationery, sales tools design and print completed the project. We continue to work with Beverley on Starfish projects as well as projects for her Haslemere and Farnham based children's clothing shops, Footprints.
